Once upon a time, in a small village in Germany, there was a young couple who had just gotten married. They were deeply in love and excited to start their new life together. However, as time passed, the couple began to experience problems and disagreements, and their once happy marriage became filled with knots of confusion, frustration, and pain.
One day, the husband went to a nearby church to pray for guidance and help. There, he saw a beautiful painting of Our Lady Untying Knots. Intrigued, he asked the priest about it. The priest explained that the painting depicted Mary, the mother of Jesus, as the one who could untie the knots in our lives, and help us find peace and healing.
Filled with hope, the husband went home and told his wife about the painting and the story behind it. Together, they went to the church, and prayed to Our Lady, asking for her intercession in their marriage.
As they prayed, they felt a sense of calm and peace come over them. Slowly but surely, the knots in their relationship began to unravel, and they found themselves growing closer and more in love than ever before.
From that day on, the couple never forgot the power of Mary's intercession in their lives. They made a habit of praying to her regularly, and even had a small statue of Our Lady Untying Knots in their home.
Today, we commemorate the feast day of Our Lady Untying Knots on September 28th. On this day, we remember Mary's role as the one who can help us untie the knots in our lives, and turn to her for guidance and intercession.
Let us pray:
Dear Mary, Mother of Jesus and our mother too, we come to you today asking for your help in untangling the knots in our lives. We ask for your intercession in our relationships, in our work, in our health, and in our spiritual lives.
We know that you are the one who can see the bigger picture, who can guide us to the right path, and who can untie the knots that we cannot. We trust in your love and your care for us, and we ask that you help us to grow closer to your son, Jesus.
We thank you for your constant presence in our lives, and for your unwavering love for us. May we always turn to you in times of trouble, and may we never forget the power of your intercession. Amen.
